Kitchen Tiles for Walls and Floors

Marble tiles look great against oak, cherry and other popular wooden kitchen units or to create a backdrop for modern kitchens with unit doors in bright primary colours. Kitchen worktops are also available in a range of natural stone although granite seems to be the work surface of choice thanks to its impervious and hard wearing properties. The good news is that we don’t just offer marble tiles for kitchens; but a whole selection of stone, porcelain, quartz and ceramic materials that can be mixed and matched for an ultra modern or traditional kitchen design.

Tiled Kitchen Benches
Rather than buy an expensive stone worktop; we’ve seen customers opt for 600mm or mosaic tiles which they’ve fixed to a treated mdf base, edged with a real wood trim and grouted using an impervious epoxy grout for an expensive designer finish at a fraction of the cost of a custom stone worktop. What’s more the worktops and splashbacks matched perfectly for a unique and inexpensive kitchen refurbishment

Stainless Steel Used in Kitchens

Regulary chosen for use in commercial kitchens thanks to its corrosion resistance and hygienic, easy cleaning properties; you’ll also find it used for hobs, ovens and the shells of microwaves, mixers and utensils built for domestic kitchens

Steel is a silvery grey colour often finished with a low reflectivity brushed finish or occasionally highly polished and tends to work well with most tiles and kitchen designs. It’s easy to maintain and ages well, lasting for many years; the only real downside of stainless steel work surfaces is that they tend to show hand prints and fingermarks very easily

Built-In Instant Hot Water for Drinks

Combi boilers are probably the most popular water heaters used for domestic hot water but many fitted kitchen manufacturers and suppliers are now offering an alternative to a kettle or coffee maker for hot drinks; a secondary tap that sits next to the kitchen sink is connected to the water supply and uses a powerful electric water heater to provide instant hot water suitable for individual hot drinks. If you only make an occasional filter coffee it may be worth considering having one fitted when you update your kitchen
